In ready-made plans, the processor, memory and disk come in predetermined ratios. With the Virtual Data Center you select these three resources independently of one another: for example, you can ask for few cores with a lot of memory, or a lot of disk with few cores. If the ratios of the standard plans do not fit your work, this is the right model.
Can I change resources later?
Yes. You can resize your configuration directly from the interface and increase processor, memory and storage whenever you want. There is no need to set the server up from scratch or migrate your data.
Is it useful during promotional periods?
That is exactly what it was designed for. You increase resources during periods when you expect heavy load, and return to your previous configuration once the campaign ends. It provides flexibility for e-commerce and event-driven businesses with fluctuating traffic.
How do my servers communicate with each other?
An SDN (software-defined networking) infrastructure establishes a local connection between your servers. Your application, database and cache servers reach one another over their own private network; the traffic never has to leave for the internet.
Which virtualization technology do you use?
KVM-based virtualization is used. You run your own kernel and have full control at the kernel level; the noisy-neighbor restrictions of container-based solutions do not apply.
How is pricing determined?
The price is formed according to the amount of resources you select; you see the total instantly as you build your configuration on the order screen. The amount you will pay, taxes included, is clear before payment.
Where is the data center?
The Virtual Data Center service is provided in the Istanbul Equinix data center. This location gives the lowest latency for visitors in Turkey.
Which operating systems can I install?
Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux and CentOS templates install with one click from the client portal; Windows Server editions are also supported. If you prefer, you can upload your own ISO file and run a custom installation.
