A 24/7 team is present in the data center; a failed disk, PSU or memory module is replaced from stock.

With a dedicated server the entire physical machine — processors, memory, disks and network card — works for you alone. There is no virtualization layer; it is the right choice for workloads that require the highest raw performance and full hardware control.
What is the difference between the configurations?
All six configurations are dual-socket Intel Xeon servers, and every one of them has 256 GB memory, 2x1 TB disk and a 1 Gbps port. The only difference is the processor class: Dedicated-1 is the economical entry level (Xeon E5 v2, DDR3 memory), Dedicated-2/3/4 use the Xeon E5 v4 line, and Dedicated-5 and Dedicated-6 use current Xeon Scalable (Silver 4210 / Gold 6230) processors. The servers are housed in the Istanbul Equinix data center.
Can I get a different disk, memory or RAID configuration?
Yes. The six configurations in the list are prepared for fast delivery from stock; if you send us your requests for additional disks, a different RAID level or more memory before ordering, we will price them and let you know the lead time.
What is the difference between port speed and bandwidth?
The port is the line the server’s network card connects to; a 1 Gbps port is standard in every configuration and carries no extra charge. Bandwidth determines how much of that line you will use and starts at 500 Mbps. On the order screen you can raise the bandwidth to suit your needs and, if you wish, increase the port speed to 10 Gbps; the current additional charges are shown at the order step. Traffic volume is separate from these and is not metered.
What is the delivery time?
Configurations that are in stock are set up and delivered the same day. For custom hardware requests (extra disk, RAM increase, RAID change) this can extend to 1-3 business days; the exact timeframe is confirmed to you after the order.
Do you provide IPMI/KVM console access?
Yes; you reach the remote console through the client portal, install the operating system yourself and intervene at the BIOS level. You work as if your hands were on the machine.
How does the process work in case of a hardware failure?
There is a 24/7 on-site response team at the data center; a faulty component (disk, PSU, RAM) is replaced from stock. In the event of a disk failure, the replacement is carried out without data loss in line with your RAID configuration.
Is DDoS protection included?
Volumetric DDoS filtering at the line level is standard on all dedicated servers. If you need additional protection against application layer (L7) attacks, we recommend a solution suited to your scenario.
