Your hardware, our infrastructure
A server is only as reliable as the environment it sits in. With colocation you host your own hardware in the Equinix Istanbul data center and get redundant power, precision cooling, a multi-carrier 80 Gbit/s network and 24/7 physical security ready to use. Our 99.98% uptime commitment means the same for your hardware as it does for our own servers — if we fall short, a 5% credit applies.
A server kept in an office or at home lives with risks you cannot see: it goes silent in a power cut, it overheats in a room without cooling, it depends on a single internet line, and it is often unclear who comes and goes through the door. If you have invested in hardware, the infrastructure carrying it should be held to the same standard. We have been doing this since 2014, and we open the same infrastructure that carries our own services to your hardware. You focus on your server; we take care of the environment.
Hardware intake and access rules
Every piece of hardware arriving at the data center is recorded on intake: make, model and serial number are noted, the device is labeled, and its place in the cabinet is documented. That way it is always clear which device is where, and installation, maintenance and any return process runs off that record.
Access at Equinix Istanbul is strict: entry to the facility is by card, the areas are monitored by camera, and cabinets are kept locked. If you want to see your hardware on site, we schedule your visit in advance through a support ticket, and entry is escorted. This arrangement protects your hardware as well as your cabinet neighbors.

Card access, camera recording and cabinet locks: entry to the data center is controlled at every hour of the day.
Remote hands support
The on-site technical team handles reboots, cable checks and the replacement of parts such as disks, PSUs and RAM from stock.

You place your own server hardware in our data center; cabinet space, power, cooling and network come from us, the hardware from you. It is a hosting model that protects the investment of businesses that have already invested in their hardware.
How is pricing determined?
It is calculated from the cabinet space you occupy (in U), your power consumption (in amperes) and your bandwidth commitment. We provide a quote for every scale, from a single 1U server to a full cabinet.
What are the data center’s infrastructure standards?
We are housed in the Istanbul Equinix data center: redundant power and climate control infrastructure, and a total of 80 Gbit/s network with multiple carrier uplinks.
Will I have physical access to my server?
Yes; you can work on your hardware with scheduled access. In urgent situations, our remote hands service performs restarts and cable or component replacements on your behalf.
Can I use my own IP block and AS number?
Yes; you can announce your own IP block over BGP or receive an IP allocation from us. Our network team works with you on the migration planning.
Do you supply hardware as well?
On request we supply additional RAM, disks and spare parts and install them. That way you manage both hosting and the hardware life cycle through a single point of contact.
How do I get my hardware to you?
There are two ways: you can ship your server by courier to the Equinix Istanbul data center, or hand it over in person by appointment. Once the quote is approved, we plan the delivery details together through a support ticket; the hardware is recorded on intake, labeled and placed in the installation queue.
What does remote hands support do when my server fails?
When you open a support ticket, the team at the data center steps in on your behalf: restarting the machine, checking cables and ports, and if needed replacing parts such as disks, PSUs and RAM from stock. The problem is solved on site without you traveling to Istanbul, and you follow each step from the ticket.
Can I increase my bandwidth later?
Yes. Our backbone has 80 Gbit/s of total uplink capacity. When your needs grow, send your request in a support ticket and you will receive an updated quote based on your usage. You do not need to move your hardware; the increase is planned on your existing connection.
