The portal experience, the support and the pricing principle are the same; the difference is geography. Istanbul is the address for every service and for colocation, while New York focuses on server services aimed at the United States and Europe.
Can I change location later?
That depends on the service type and on your project. For a definite answer, open a support ticket in the client portal; our team will review your options together with you.
Why is colocation available only in Istanbul?
Because that is where our physical operation is: our on-site technical team and disk, PSU and RAM replacement from stock are at Equinix Istanbul. We offer colocation where we can genuinely put our hands on your hardware.
